Sewage - No more in the Churchill River

SEWAGE TREATMENT.PNG New Treatment plant is on-line, but officially opens in October Nalcor admits that sewage was being taken away from the Muskrat Falls Project and dumped at the surrounding municipalities. It’s a practice that has been put to an end, according to Gilbert Bennett. He the Vice President of the lower Churchill Project and he explained it all to our Jay Legere. And, for those who did not know, sewage is no longer making it’s way into the Churchill River. Since last week the New Treatment plant in Happy Valley Goose Bay is on-line, we take you back to one of the many stories we’ve done on the battle for a sewage treatment plant.
