Preparing for a disaster...

QNSandL.jpgSix people have died in the Ottawa railway collision. It’s a tragedy eerily similar to a mock disaster held in western Labrador this spring. Labrador has the province’s only ACTIVE rail lines. Safety Services Newfoundland and Labrador spends a week each spring explaining safety issues surrounding the railway. They often put emergency services through disaster scenarios. Lloyd Hobbs is a manager with the organization. He tells Chris Ensing why it’s so important to plan for the worst.
