More casual workers needed at Labrador Correctional Centre

The provincial department of justice is looking for more correctional officers to work at the Labrador Correctional Centre. There are enough full-time employees, but not enough casual workers according to the union president — and finding casuals is proving to be a challenge. NAPE, the union that represents correctional officers, says going without is putting pressure on the existing staff. Union president Carol Furlong spoke to CBC reporter Bailey White.
