Community market suffers Wind damage
Rob Kitson with the destroyed tents The community outdoor market started the season in Happy Valley-Goose Bay over the weekend…. and by all accounts it was a great day for vendors…. and visitors. But a short…sudden… midafternoon gust of wind changed all that. It blew in at 80 kilometres per hour…. and though it didn’t last long… it did leave its mark. Rob Kitson is the market manager. Here he is explaining to Labrador Morning reporter Matt McCann what happened.
