It’s the worst flood that city has ever seen, and it remains under a state of emergency. It’s a situation Happy Valley-Goose Bay’s Shannon Paine could never have expected. Three weeks ago, she moved to Calgary to work as an articling student at a law firm. Little did she know that she’d be wading into the flood’s aftermath to help with the clean-up.
Our John Gaudi spoke with Shannon Paine about lending a helping hand.
