Safe kids week - concussions

Pittsburgh Penguin’s Sidney Crosby put the danger of serious head injuries in the spotlight. Back in 2011, the star hockey player suffered a concussion that put him out of the game for months. But big time hockey players aren’t the only ones who’re at risk of getting concussions. Kids are too. This week is safe kids week. The theme is on concussion awareness and prevention.
Janice White is with the Labrador Grenfell Health in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Our John Gaudi spoke with her about why concussions are serious business.
