It’s National volunteer week…
A time to say thanks to the people who volunteer their time to help others.
In Labrador, volunteers are often seen as the heart and sole of the big land.
They strengthen their communities and help make this part of Canada a more vibrant place to live.
One person who sees first hand the importance of volunteering is Jennifer Hefler-Elson.
She’s executive director of the Labrador Frindship Centre and she joins us in our studio
