Combined Councils AGM

The Combined Councils of Labrador AGM has come and gone for another year. This time around it was shrouded in controversy. NDP leader, Lorraine Michael, and Labrador Affairs minister, Nick McGrath, duked it out over who should be allowed to speak… and when. In the middle was Nath Moores, he was the acting president of the councils when this all went down. He believes he was threatened by government officials when asked to keep Lorriane Michael off a panel with McGrath and Keith Russell. Now the combined councils are moving forward, and have passed a resolution to ensure it won’t happen again. Nath Moores is on the phone from his home this morning.
