85 Million for Trans Labrador Highway
It’s remote, rough and one of Labrador’s main connections to the Island. I’m talking about the Trans Labrador Highway between Red Bay and Happy Valley Goose Bay. Yesterday, government officials announced an investment of eighty five million dollars to widen and pave this section of the road. This is one of the largest infrastructure projects ever undertaken in the province. CBC’s Peter Cowan was at the announcement and spoke with Paul Davis, Minister of Transportation and Works. and, Ida Powell lives in Charlottetown and travels the road quite often. She’s on the line with Colleen Connors.
