Concerns about Muskrat Project on Happy Valley Goose Bay
On Tuesday evening more than 40 people crowded into the Happy Valley-Goose Bay council chambers to talk about Muskrat Falls. Council called the public meeting to hear residents’ concerns about how the mega-project will impact the town. People spoke passionately about issues relating to town infrastructure, housing and other services such as recreation facilities. The town says it will take the concerns to future meetings with Nalcor and the province. Labrador Morning’s John Gaudi was at last night’s meeting. And here’s some of what people had to say.
