Kay Kennedy of Wabush remembers her son Kevin, lost in the war in Afghanistan

KEVIN KENNEDY.jpg Kevin Kennedy

For Kay Kennedy of Wabush Remembrance day is a day filled with mixed emotions. Pride and sadness are amongst the strongest of many . Both her sons decided to make their careers in the Military. Her Youngest, Kevin, was twenty when he went to Afghanistan. He was killed along with five others when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb. Labrador Morning’s Mike Power sat down with Kennedy, who spoke of the terrible tragedy every mother with a child in the Military fears could happen some day, and she talks about what rembrance day means to her, and why she wants people to never forget our fallen soldiers.
