Nalcor injunction against NunatuKavut - In supreme Court

NunatuKavut Community Council at Injunction 003.jpg NunatuKavut Community Council at Injunction A supreme court judge in Happy Valley-Goose Bay has to decide whether or not an injunction against aboriginal protestors will stand. Last month, members of the NunatuKavut Community Council were told to stop protesting at an access gate to the Muskrat Falls construction site. Nalcor is building an access road and a camp site at the location. And safety concerns were one of the reasons given for the injunction. On Tuesday both NunatuKavut Community Council and Nalcor lawyers stated their positions. Labrador Morning’s John Gaudi dropped by to speak with some members of the NCC about how they feel the hearing is going. He spoke with them in a Labrador tent set up at the courthouse.
