Archaeologist Patricia Sutherland

It’s thought to be the earliest known European settlement in the New World. But a new picture is emerging of the Viking presence along the coast in ancient times. And northern Labrador figures into that re-think. Patricia Sutherland has been doing research on artifacts found on Baffin Island and Northern Labrador. She’s on the line from Ottawa to tell us about it.
