Air Labrador Flap

AirLabDock.PNG Air Labrador Twin Otter takes off from public wharf Last Friday Air Labrador’s twin otter took off from the public wharf in Happy Valley Goose Bay. For the past twenty odd years, the aircraft is converted from float plane to wheels and residents come out to watch it take off from the dock. What’s also taking off is the controversy surrounding this annual event. George Eldridge is general manager of CAI Nunatsiavut Marine. They run the dock, and they are not happy about Friday’s big flight. Labrador Morning’s Colleen Connors met George Eldridge at the dock in Happy Valley Goose Bay, following that President and CEO of Air Labrador, Philip Earle, joins Tony Dawson by telephone to answer those concerns
