Elders Gather in Hopedale

Johannas Lampe Elders have a special place in our hearts. It can be a real blessing to get advice from a wise uncle… or call up an older friend for that recipe you always loved. But what can elders do when younger people start ignoring them? That’s one of the questions being asked at the Elder’s Gathering in Hopedale this week. Johannes Lampe is the Minister of Culture, Recreation and Tourism for the Nunatsiavut Government. And he’s also an elder. He joins Tony Dawson by telephone from Hopedale
