Questioning Happy Valley-Goose Bay Mayor's Muskrat Falls support
Protest at Town Council office in Happy Valley Goose Bay
On Friday, members of Friends of the Grand River protested in front of the town hall in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. They say Mayor Leo Abbass has a conflict of interest when it comes to Muskrat Falls. The mayor sits on a Nalcor board and supports a new group that favours the project. After the public protest, the Mayor invited everyone in to the council chambers to discuss the matter further. Labrador Morning’s John Gaudi dropped by the protest and brings us this tape.
