Supplies for North Coast Not Likely without Northern Ranger

As we head toward the end of the shipping season, people on the north coast are worried about getting all the supplies they need. With the Northern Ranger out of service, the Astron is the only vessel bringing in freight. On Friday, some protesters confronted the minister of transportation, Tom Hedderson, when he was in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Our Peter Cowan spoke with two of them, Kim Oliver and Maria Solomon. As it happened, the minister of transportation, Tom Hedderson, was in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Friday, so the protesters were able to bring their concerns directly to him. Afterwards, Peter Cowan asked Mr. Hedderson for an update on the Northern Ranger.
