Family Hopes to Scatter Ashes at Ashuanipi
Imagine leaving the City of Montreal at the age of eighteen, and working for almost three years in a remote radio operators’ camp in the middle of Labrador. Huneault passed away last December, and now his family hopes to find the site of the old camp, and scatter his ashes there. Kristina Huneault told reporter Mike Power about her dad, the stories he told, and her family’s plan to bring his ashes back to Ashuanipi.
