Call for Parental Involvement to Deal with Gas Sniffing in Natuashish

People in Natuashish are struggling with what they say is a crisis of gas sniffing in the community. Yesterday, we heard from two mothers who have put their kids into foster care outside the province, so they will be safe. But addiction counsellors say gas sniffing won’t go away until other problems in the community are dealt with. Marie Agathe Rich works at the Healing Lodge in Natuashish. Our John Gaudi spoke with her about the challenge of getting kids the help they need. After we play that interview for you, we speak with a member of the RCMP in Natuashish about what they’re doing to help.
