Another Setback for Snowbird Gymnastics

The past few years haven’t been easy for the Snowbirds gymnastics club in Labrador West. For a number of years they operated out of a former school building. When that was sold, they had to scale back their program because of a lack of adequate space. Their membership plummeted. Earlier this year, the club entered into an agreement with the town of Labrador City to lease space in a former teen centre. The plan was to open it this month, but now there’s another setback. Kathy Coish is the head coach of the club. She explains what’s happening to Labrador Morning’s Mike Power.
