One Woman's Struggle with FASD

Regula and Suzy Schule.JPG As we speak this morning, people are gathering in Happy Valley-Goose Bay to talk about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. There’s a breakfast at Nunatsiavut’s Health and Social Development building. In fact, events have been happening around the province to mark International FASD awareness day. In Happy Valley-Goose Bay, 40 year old Suzy Schule knows all too well why pregnant women shouldn’t drink alcohol. She has FASD. Luckily, she also has a loving adoptive mother, Regula. Our John Gaudi dropped by Suzy and Regula’s home to find out about the challenges of living with FASD.
