George River Caribou Numbers Alarmingly Low

Yesterday, the province released some shocking numbers about the George River caribou herd. In the late 1980s, the caribou herd was estimated at 800-thousand animals. But the herd is declining, and it’s doing so at an alarming rate. Minister Terry French is the Minister of Environment and Conversation. He joins us live by phone.
