Crushing The Scrap Metal Problem
In Happy Valley-Goose Bay there is lots of scrap metal like rusting machinery and abandoned vehicles lying around town. Now, a metal recycling company has been busy cleaning some of it up. And they’re even carting it away, free of charge. Town counsellor Lidija Chubbs thinks it’s a good time for property owners to get cracking. Our John Gaudi met up with her to take a look at some of the scrap metal that’s been piling up.
