NunatuKavut Suspends Protest Fishery

NunatuKavut Community Council announced yesterday they are suspending the fishery in Upper Lake Melville . Just last week, The southern inuit group said it was their aboriginal right to fish salmon, trout and char in these waters, defying the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. To explain the sudden change and what this means for the short fishing season, we are joined live in our studio by President of NunatuKavut, Todd Russell.
