Moravian Christmas Tradition
Rev. Glenna Tasedan
The Moravian Church in Happy Valley-Goose Bay is presenting the story of the birth of Jesus in a unique way. It’s called a “putz,” which means decoration in German. It’s a intricate model showing scenes relating to the story of the Nativity…and in this case with a taste of Labrador. This week, the church is inviting people to walk-through the putz in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Labardor Morning’s John Gaudi dropped by the church to speak with Rev. Glenna Tasedan about this Moravian Christmas tradition.
