Jumbo Jet - Jumbo Headaches at the Goose Bay Airport
It’s not unusual for jumbo jets to be diverted to the airport in Happy Valley Goose Bay for medical emergencies That’s just what happened last Friday afternoon as officials were told to expect a Russian TransAero 747, on it’s way to Cuba with almost 500 passengers on board to land with a suspected heart attack victim on board. As it turns out, there was no heart attack, but the para-medics and the police were kept busy handling unruly passengers. Rod Fifield is with Woodwards Aviation, and helped handle the emergency. He’s on the line with Tony Dawson.
