Inmates at the Labrador Correctional Centre help build a house for a family in need
Chris Nippard Passing the time by helping others. That’s exactly what inmates at the Labrador Correctional Centre are doing in Happy Valley Goose Bay. Inmates, who qualify, use their construction skills and help finish a home for a family in need. It’s part of a volunteer program offered at the prison to encourage inmates to put their skills to good use. Our Colleen Connors stopped by the Rona Rea House while two inmates were working there.
