"A Journey Through Time." - in search of an ancient family shrine

IMG_0268_01.JPGIt’s hard to imagine, but initials written in clay more than one hundred years ago, are still visible today. But you won’t see them unless you know exactly where to look in the Labrador wilderness. Dozens of trappers who have traveled the Churchill River have made their mark on the side of a steep clay bank. It started with Joe Goudie’s grandfather, Joe Blake who dug a hole there, as a storage place for most of his food and supplies. That’s where Joe Goudie is leading his son and grandson today, in our series, “A Journey Through Time.”
