Borrowed Black Author from North West River Tours Labrador
Ellen Obed isn’t a crop specialist, but she DOES know a thing or two about partridgeberries. This week she’s talking to school children in southern Labrador. Obed is an author who lived in Labrador for ten years, and Newfoundland for two. She’s probably best-known for her children’s story, “Borrowed Black,.” but these days, she spends a lot of time writing and talking about berries. Ellen Obed’s latest book is called “Partridgeberry, Redberry, Tyttebar, Too.” She joins us from L’Anse Au Loup
