Power Lines Downed by Heavy Equipment in Western Labrador

Last week there was an another incident of a power line strike in Western Labrador. After a piece of heavy equipment took down a pole, there was damage, and customers were without power for an extended period of time. With the increase in construction activity in the area, it’s a problem that is of great concern for Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro, and it’s happening all over the province. To find out about the latest incident, reporter Mike Power reached Darren Moore the General Manager of Transmissions and Rural Operations for Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro
