Dedication of Centennial Playground in Labrador City

The Centennial Park playground has a brand new shiny piece of equipment. It’s shaped like a large multicolored boat. In front of it, there is a plaque fastened to a large chunk or iron ore rock. It reads “Eldon approved”. Eldon, is Eldon Perry of Labrador City, who died after an on-the-job-accident. The equipment was put there by his co-workers. Last Friday there was a dedication ceremony at the park in Eldon Perry’s honor. Here, for the record is some of that event starting with Randy Saunders with IOC, and then Steve Perry, Eldon’s son
