Running the Torngat Base Camp
This week we’ve heard about the challenges of having a national park in one of the most remote areas of Labrador. Now we want to introduce you to the guy in charge of running it all. Wayne Broomfield is the camp manager. He works for the Labrador Inuit Development Corporation, which is tasked with running the camp. He’s the guy who has to make sure there’s food and housing for up to a hundred people a night. He took a break from all that to chat with reporter Peter Cowan.
