Family of Victim Reacts to Cormier Trial
A woman in Happy Valley-Goose Bay is relieved the trial of Romeo Cormier of Moncton is finally over. The woman’s aunt was abducted by Cormier in February 2010 and held captive for 26 days. Last week, a New Brunswick judge sentenced him to 18 years in prison. We cannot identify the woman or her family because of a publication ban. Colleen Connors spoke with the woman’s niece.
