Caribou hunt will be delayed again this year

The province announced yesterday that the opening of the season would be delayed. A census on the George River Herd last year estimated numbers to be way down and government says it needs time to figure out where to go from here. Ross Wiseman is the Minister of Environment and Conservation. He spoke with reporter Peter Cowan. .

One of the stake holders that met with government in June was the Labrador Hunting and Fishing Association. Tony Chubbs is the president and this morning, with his reaction, he's in the studio in Happy Valley Goose Bay with Tony Dawson.
