The New Face of RNC in Labrador
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s new officer in charge of Labrador is settling into her new job. Inspector Paula Walsh was born in Gander and has been with the RNC for almost three decades. Some of her postings included media relations officer in the St. John’s detachment and officer in charge of training. Now she has the designation of being the first female officer in charge of a detachment in the province. Reporter Mike Power sat down with Inspector Walsh to get her thoughts on her move to Labrador West, and what she sees as the priorities for the detachment.
