Early Spending for Lower Churchill

Almost every premier since Frank Moores had big plans to develop the Lower Churchill River. But it turns out that those big plans have cost the province big bucks over the years even though the project still hasn’t started. According to numbers released by Nalcor earlier this week, the province has spent upwards of 350-million dollars on the project since the 1970s. Reporter Peter Cowan spoke with Nalcor president Gilbert Bennett about the price tag so far.
