More Broadband for Labrador?

Susan Sullivan.jpgSusan Sullivan The province is asking internet service providers to come up with a plan to improve broadband for Newfoundland and Labrador. The call for proposals comes with the Rural Broadband Initiative to bring internet to under-serviced areas. New clients in Happy Valley Goose Bay, North West River and other parts of Labrador cannot get internet at all because the broadband connections are all being used. Susan Sullivan is the Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development. She announced the call for proposals last week and joins Tony Dawson by telephone from St. John’s.
