Mock Train disaster in Labrador West
It’s a chilling sight… A blue mini van with five teenagers inside it, hit by a train at a railway crossing between Wabush and Labrador City. Luckily, it isn’t real….. It’s a training exercise, set up as part of National Railway Safety Week. Labrador West is the only area of the province that has railways, but rail safety is something to learn about no matter where you live. Reporter Mike Power went to check out the exercise yesterday, and hear what some of the participants had to say about it.
