Michael Crummey's "Galore" up for Major Award
Michael Crummey Every year just ten books from around the world make the short list for the IMPAC Dublin literary award. It’s the world richest literary award for a single work of fiction worth about one hundred fifty thousand dollars. This year former Wabush resident, Michael Crummey is on that list for his novel “Galore” beating out even famous Canadian author Margaret Atwood for a spot on the top ten.
