Drinking and Driving - On the rise in Labrador West
Cst. Bill Fitzgerald Despite a fatal accident and a community forum to highlight the issue, there is still too much drinking and driving in Labrador West. There have been nine cases so far this year. The latest was early yesterday morning when police picked up a 54 year old impared driver who refused teh breathalyzer. Before that, only a few days ago, motorists reported a driver was purposly knocking over garbage cans on both sides of teh street. A 24 year old man was charged with drinking and driving, his second such charge.
