Alf Parsons wins GOLD at 2011 World Masters Cross Country Ski Championship

It was a happy homecoming for Labrador City cross country skiier Alf Parsons. The sixty year old athlete arrived home yesterday after winning a gold medal at the World Cross country championships last week in British Columbia. Parsons was competing in the thirty kilometre freestyle event. Yesterday aftenoon the Menihek Nordic Ski Club in Labarador City held a reception to mark the occasion.
