The jobs are there..but no one is applying. Six nurses and six paramedics are needed in Happy Valley - Goose Bay for the Air Ambulance Program. The teams would provide direct care to patients travelling on the air ambulance. Right now, if there is an emergency, a team from St. John's has to come to Happy Valley Goose Bay to fly with the patient. The twelve jobs have been posted in the past, but, with the exception of one, the positions have not been filled. Reporter Colleen Connors caught up with Minster of Health Jerome Kennedy to ask him more about the Air Ambulance Team.
