Senator Fabian Manning visits Labrador - ACOA funding for two projects at the College of the North Atlantic.
Sen. Fabian Manning It was a busy day for Senator Fabian Manning yesterday. He was in Western Labrador to announce projects under the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency. The College of the North Atlantic in both Labrador West and Happy Valley Goose Bay have recieved money. New Simulators for the mining technician program in Labrador West , and equipment to help with a Power line technician course in Happy Valley Goose Bay. In Western Labrador, the College of the North Atlantic offers a Mining Technician Program, new equipment partially funded by the Provincial Government, and the Atlantic Canada opportunities agency , will provide two simulators for the College. The Happy Valley Goose Bay Campus has also recieved funding to establish A power line technician program.
A ceremony involving officials of the Provincial Government and ACOA was held in Western Labrador Yesterday.
