Spreading the message about workplace safety

Candace Carnahan.pngCandace Carnahan On Monday high school students in Labrador West got to meet a young woman by the name of Candace Carnahan…..and while they might not have known her before they won’t forget her story any time soon. Candace was working one of her last shifts at a paper mill in New Brunswick, when the unthinkable happened. Walking over a piece of machinery, as many before her had done, she fell and got caught. That was in 1999 and since her accident she has been telling her story to hundreds of thousands of people in Canada and beyond. She told her story to Labrador Morning’s Jeremy Eaton.
