Torngat National Park - Planning the Next Five Years

Torngat national Park_01.JPGIt's been five years since Parks Canada opened the Torngat Mountains National Park.

It's the newest park in Canada, and is still going through the growing pains.

But in it's infancy it's attracted over two thousand visitors.

Parks Canada had an Open House in Happy Valley - Goose Bay last week, to present the park's Management Plan.

Our Tara McLean dropped by the Labrador Friendship Centre where she found

one person who was eager to tell her all about the park.

Gary Baikie is the Visitor Experience and Product Development Manager of the Torngat National park.
