AngauKak in Nain says his community doesn't agree with the Nunatsiavut Government's request to allow more than one animal per licence for beneficiaries.

tony andersen.jpgThe Nunatsiavut Government is hoping the Province will allow beneficiaries to hunt Goerge River caribou to the level of need, OUTSIDE the Inuit settlement area.

Natural Resources minister Daryll Shiwak told us that the request followed consultations throughout Inuit communites before Christmas.

But one AngajukKak says the recommendations don't reflect what people in his community said.
