My review is on a card game that I INVENTED called (you guessed it) 88. To start, grab a deck of cards. Make you that you shuffle them good. Play one round of rock, paper, scissors with your opponent. Then, give the top card of the deck to the winner of R, P, S. Repeat this proccess.
Each card represents a certain number of points. For example, a 2 is 2 pts, a 4 is 4 pts, J Q K are 10 points, and an Ace can be 1 or 11. The goal of the game is to be the first one whose cards add up to exactly 88. In order to win, you have to use all of your cards to equal 88. If you do not want a card (for example, if it will put your total over 88) , you put it face down on the table, announce "trade", and your opponent gives you a card of their choice in an exchange. Each player may do this 4 times per match.
I enjoy this game, I think it can improve your math skills, while you are having fun. So, if you want, try this game out, and add a comment with your thoughts!
