Spore Is a game for the Computer. Before you read this review and decide if you want it, there is one condition. You need A LOT of memory and a Great video graphics card.
Okay on to the review. When you start the game you see a comet crashing into the planet and the rocks go everywhere. You come out of the rock in the water as a little Cell. You then eat to get bigger and more DNA points to spend on parts to make your cell better. when you try to spend the points you go to the creature creator there you can add parts like eyes, Mouths (herbivore, carnivore and add both to be an Omnivore)
and parts to eat other cells.
If you are a herbivore you eat only the plants that float. Carnivore only other cells, and Omnivore is either. When you get big enough you go to creature where you do pretty much the same thing except You don't get classified by what you eat. you get classified by how you act.
Then you go to Tribal where you have to do the same thing excpet instead of just one creature you command a whole Tribe of them. and you use instruments and weapons to beat or befriend them.
Civilization you get to make Tanks, ships and Planes to attack or buy or even Convert the cities to your colour. You get special abilities depending on what you did in Tribe, creature and cell. (I was a warrior so at 6 cities I could click a button and spend 48,000 Sporebucks and take over the whole planet :D)
At Space the game gets intense you build a spaceship, You do missions. And can even beam down onto planets (with an expansion pack that comes out June 23rd tommorow as of today) You can go to over 1000 plants and ally or destory the inhabitants. You can Even Find Earth! (there aren't any humans on it though so you can inhabiant it)
Did I mention I've seen it in a magazine for only $28? AND you can have about 10 files PER COMPUTER ACCOUNT. and you can use the creator in the game to just make creatures for fun without having to make a file for them :D well that's my review of Spore! *looks back* whoa thats long
