Maplelea dolls are a line of- you guessed it. Dolls. (Obvious.) They are like the American Girl dolls except they are all from different provinces and cities in Canada. There is one named Alexi from Toronto, ON, Brianne, From Manitoba (They only say what city Alexi is from.),Taryn from Banff, Leonie from Quebec, and Jenna, from Nova Scotia. They are better made than the AG dolls as well. If you go on the site, www.maplelea.com, you can see the making of them. First, They held a conference with some girls to find names and personalities for the dolls. Next, they took a picture of a girl to use for a guideline for the face of a doll. Then they sculpt the doll, sew in the hair and design clothes for them to wear. (That fit each dolls personalty.) There are a few more steps but then, voila! the maplelea dolls were created.

My daughter also has Alexi. She and her friends all have these dolls and they love them. They are so well made. I loved the customer service that I got when I ordered. My daughter loves the fact that she is not a baby doll. They have so much fun playing with them. It was definitely a purchase that was well worth the money spent. The hours of enjoyment plus the heirloom quality of the doll makes this highly reccommended by me.

The dolls are $99. But they come with a storage box, journal and the doll itself.
The accessories price varies on what price the company choses.
They might be expensive but the doll and the clothes are so durable that it's money well spent.

Hi I have Alexi and my friend has Taryn. These dolls are so worth the money everyone. My friend and I are thirteen now and still love them. We call them our friendship dolls. Honestly I think if you want one you should just go and buy one. Cause even if it takes FOREVER to save up enough money. you won't be disipointed. xoxo -Cloie

I have Alexi, and, despite the high price, they are totally worth it. The quality is amazing, and each accessory vomes with a journal page that you can add to your journal. I would highly reccomend these dolls! And, I just thought I'd let you know that Jenna is from Luneneburg, Nova Scotia, Taryn is from Banff, Alberta, Leonie is from Quebec City, Qurbec, Alexi is from Cabbagetown, Toronto, and I believe Brianne is from Sandy Lake, Manitoba.

I have had Alexi for a year, and she is a true delight. I wish I were young again to be able to take her with me. I love to sew, and she is a perfect size for new clothes. I highly recommend these dolls for girls and for adult collectors. Thank you Kathryn

We purchased a Maplelea girl recently. She is beautiful and my daughter loves playing with her.
We had to return her due to a manufacturing defect, and the return process is very slow. For a doll of this price point, I expected that I would be able to call the company, explain the issue, and get a replacement sent right away. It turns out you need to send back the doll, they assess her, then they send a replacement - a process that takes two to three weeks, if not longer.
