The remake of Race to Witch Mountain which came out recently is probably the worst movie of the year so far. It's nothing like the original. The original had the kids not knowing they were aliens until the end. In the remake they have a purpose for coming to Earth. I didn't recognize anything from the original, all of it was different. There was some kind of assassin which looked like he was trying to make fun of Storm Troopers from Star Wars. The acting was fine. The kids that played the aliens were very good at impersonating aliens which just came down to Earth. I expected better from Dwayne Johnson, he seemed tired; he didn't look energetic for one second. It was weird how there was much more of a story to it because the kids had a purpose in going down to Earth. Their ship looked like something out of Star Trek. You'd think they could make creative space ships, and not just copy.

I just watched the movie and I never even knew that it was a remake! Pretty sad of me, huh? But for all the others who didn't know, I think the movie was alright. Not the greatest, and I thought of Star Wars many times but when my brother took me to see this movie, I thought that the actors were well chosen and It was quite entertaining. The plot was cliche but some action scenes were eye opening so I'd give it a 3 out of 5.

I liked this movie better than the origanal because the kids knew that they were aliens and that gave them more of a reson for them to be on earth the kids played really well but the taxie driver semed tired I would give this a 4 cent rating because it was a interesting movie

Christopher I disagree with you, I thought it was a great movie and acted well and much better than the original.
